For NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the 2019 Technology Highlights report serves as a showcase of the innovations shaping the agency’s future—featuring a curated selection of breakthrough technologies chosen by the Chief Technologist and essential to JPL’s continued impact on NASA’s contributions.

To mark the 100th anniversary of the Bauhaus movement, we drew inspiration from a century of modern design principles. Bold typography, strong geometric forms, and a restrained, purposeful layout became the visual language of the publication. By blending Bauhaus influence with contemporary sensibilities, we created a report that felt both timeless and forward-looking—an ideal match for the pioneering work it presents.

With a large and diverse group of contributors involved, success depended on rigorous organization and clear communication—our team art directed the photography, coordinated content from more than 30 authors, and delivered three editions of this publication for JPL with clarity, consistency, and a strong creative vision.
